That statement comes off as homophobic, which is why people are attacking. This was said in an open community, & while their attacking is wrong as well, what is being said surely has to be watched.

In my own opinion, that's not the reason why Lindsey is a bad role model. Whether a person dates someone of the same gender or not it no one's concern but their own, & it doesn't make them a bad person. Saying she's a bad role model because she's dating a girl is, yes, a homophobic remark, sorry to say. It's a lesson, you have to watch what you say anywhere.

If it's locked on your own journal, it's ok to write your opinions, just truth of the matter is, on public communities, opinions don't matter, because I had to deal with that as well when I stated my own opinion as well.
