All the stories about Lindsay Lohan in the tabs and blogs are beginning to sound like Mad Libs. They generally start with “Lindsay Lohan was [INSERT]ing out/up with [INSERT MALE STAR] at [INSERT] club.” Yesterday it was “hooking up” with John Mayer. Today, courtesy of Us Weekly, it’s “making out” with Cash Warren, the producer husband of Jessica Alba. In a piece titled, “Lindsay’s New Low: Caught kissing Alba’s husband,” Us Weekly has a source claiming that when Lohan and Warren were at the Hollywood club Villa on November 19, they ignored their friends and began kissing. ‘”It was raw. They were not shy,” says the so-called “source.” Anyone else find it weird that no other outlet reported this alleged public incident — and it supposedly happened almost two weeks ago?! Lohan, who stars in “Machete” with Alba, is friendly with Warren, but that’s all. So instead of an unnamed source, how about what Lohan herself says? The actress told Gossip Cop that she’s “just doing a [TV] show with Cash and it’s strictly business.” source

A while back I did something that classified me, in that moment, as a bad RPer.
In an effort to provide a friend with an excuse out of something IC that was bothering her, I broke the OOC/IC line and had my character go a little overboard in something he was doing in the hopes that it would initiate what I knew my friend was OOCly looking for.
Although it is normal for my character to go overboard in things, and in that instance it was realistic for him to do what he did, the very fact that I consciously made the decision to do something based on OOC knowledge is what classifies that moment as a bad RPer moment.
Now, here's the part where I might be tempted to feel bad for that. And indeed, maybe I should. The IC/OOC line shouldn't be crossed. However, in a way I'm somewhat thankful for my bad decision, because it gave me, that person, as well as some other people a chance to initiate some really awesome fallout RP. I'm very blessed that I had people willing to roll with my mistake, and that things turned out for the better.

Could the reason for Edward being so tempted to drink Bella's blood be due to her blood type? Is there a certain blood type that vampires are more likely to be tempted with? Or is all blood equal to them?
For example: If blood type O is the strongest/beneficial of all bloods (which I'm not sure if it is or not,) then people with this type of blood are more prone to vampire attacks.
What do you think?

Three drabbles I wrote for the Twilight uncanon drabble-a-thon...Title: The Garage Characters & Pairings: Quil, Jacob, Embry Rating: PG Summary: They're friends who live by the words "bros before hoes"...most of the time. Notes: For b_o_w_a's prompt "Jacob/Quil/Embry: remember when..." I took a more bromantic than straightforwardly shippy approach, but I just couldn't resist this idea. ( Jake's garage had always been their hangout... )Title: Red Wedding Characters & Pairings: Carlisle/Rosalie Rating: PG Summary: Carlisle sees Rosalie for possibly the last time on the night she goes to kill the men who raped her and destroyed her human life. Notes: For kapellmeister's prompt "Carlisle/Rosalie: interceptions." ( 'I never got my dance with my father.' )Title: Fair Arrangement Characters & Pairings: Paul/Angela/Jacob Rating: hard R Summary: How to live with two werewolves who have both imprinted on you. Notes: This one was for autumn_whispers who requested Jacob/Angela/Paul with both the guys imprinting on her. ( She is the only one in the world now... )

The Killers recorded this cover version of the classic Eagles hit as part of their contribution to raise awareness and funds for the APE (Artists Project Earth) charity which, in the last month alone, has made awards of $100,000 to support the victims of natural disasters in the Asia Pacific region. Recorded with the APE house band, Rhythms Del Mundo, ‘Hotel California’ has been given an Afro-Cuban treatment and is already a radio hit all over Europe. The song will be heavily promoted in the run up to COP15 – the Global Climate Change Conference in Copenhagen, December 7-18, where it will be the soundtrack to the conference. The Killers are tipped to perform at the Conference. Sauce- Mood:angry

Dunno if this has been posted or not, haven't seen it but Trueblood facebook just posted this so here we go...delete if need be. 'True Blood' casts vampire, werewolf Theo Alexander, Grant Bowler join HBO drama By Nellie Andreeva Dec 2, 2009, 05:19 PM ET Grant Bowler, left, and Theo Alexander | "True Blood" is adding two more hunks to the fold for next season. Up-and-coming actor Theo Alexander and "Ugly Betty" heartthrob Grant Bowler have landed recurring roles on Alan Ball's vampire drama. Alexander will play Talbot, an "intensely beautiful" vampire, the boyfriend of Russell Edgington (Denis O'Hare), the vampire king of Mississippi. Talbot has an acerbic sense of humor and loves to cook despite vampires' inherent lack of cooking talents. Bowler will play Coot, a werewolf, the menacing ringleader of a biker gang. Greece-born Alexander, repped by Global Artists Agency, has several guest shots on his resume -- appearances on "Chuck," "CSI: NY" and "Pushing Daisies" -- and recently booked the feature "Losing Control." New Zealander Bowler has recurred on ABC's "Ugly Betty" as the scheming Wilhelmina (Vanessa Williams) squeeze and current fugitive Connor Owens. Alexander and Bowler join "Prison Break" alum Marshall Allman, who was recently cast as a regular, playing Sam's (Sam Trammell) long-lost younger brother. Production on the "Blood's" third season started Wednesday in Los Angeles. SOURCE

VIP tickets to Lady Gaga's Monster Ball Tour, which just kicked off yesterday in Boston, should cost a pretty penny, right? Nope. Most shows are actually free…as long as you're ready to volunteer. Indeed, title sponsor Virgin Mobile USA has extended its innovative "Free I.P." program to the Monster Ball national tour, offering premium VIP tickets to fans who volunteer their time to homeless youth organizations in a select number of cities. The basic gist of the program is that, in exchange completing 8 hours of community service for a designated charity that assists homeless youth, you will receive 1 VIP ticket to Lady Gaga's show. Cool, huh? ( This isn't the first time that Virgin Mobile has mobilized music fans to help the 2 million+ youth (ages 13-24) sleeping on the streets each year. )Lady Gaga follows Boyle, doubles up with Fame Monster debut Speaking of "The Fame Monster" last month, Lady Gaga expressed her intent to not just listen to fans but to make picking up a copy of her new eight song package affordable. "We may have an economy, but MUSIC HAS NO ECONOMY," Gaga said in a statement. "I will release four or more singles from The Fame Monster, tour the world with The Monster Ball Tour, and most importantly I insist on honoring my fans with an affordable new album, an album that is as loyal to them, as they have been to me."( Read More )

Alicia Keys is hunched over a sparkling black Yahama piano in the middle of an old creaky warehouse turned film studio in Brooklyn. It’s so cold inside the wide, desolate space that you can see your breath. The R&B singer, clad in a charcoal gray minidress adorned with silver sequins, is a trooper though. Her legs look long and lean in gray-and-black-spiked boots, and her thick tresses are gathered in a neat braid at the crown of her head. As the 12-time Grammy winner performs on this brisk October day, at least 50 people hover around her—adjusting lights, moving equipment, and shouting instructions. Keys’ voice rises above the ruckus. “This is your last shot!” she shouts playfully at the director, who has persuaded her to reshoot a scene for her video “Try Sleeping with a Broken Heart,” the second single off her highly anticipated fourth studio album, The Element of Freedom. It’s past 2 p.m. and the singer still hasn’t eaten lunch, plus she’s due in wardrobe. Her manager steps in to speed things up. And Keys chimes in, “I’ve got some place to be.”( although she's just a girl that is your friend )

I'm desperately searching for a young adult I read (and loved) back in 95-97. I don't remember the title but I think the cover was a close up of a women's eye. The plot was a little weird: a teenager takes a trip to a lake with her family and some friends. The family is pretty dysfunctional, and I think it comes out the dad had an affair with one of her (or her sister's?) friends. The main character meets three boys, one she falls in love with. The other two are creepy and she doesn't like. It turns out the boys are actually ghosts - but are all 3 are ghosts of the same boy. They represent different personality facets of a boy who had drown in the lake. I read this on a camping trip as a teenager and it's stuck with me even since. I wish the title had also stuck with me! Any ideas?

Alright, Smarties.... I'm guestimating that I read this book about 5 years (or so) ago, and I want to say it was a fairly new book at the time. As in, it had been published a couple of years before...
Anyhoo, young, pregnant wife leaves her husband. She ends up driving to a monastery, mostly likely with nuns, maybe a home for young pregnant women? She ends up staying, and becoming a cook for the place....I think. She has a daughter and she ends up marrying a guy who I'm pretty sure was the caretaker of the place who raises the daughter as his own. Maybe the first husband ends up tracking her down? There didn't seem to be an explanation of why she had left him in the first place, I think she herself didn't know why she was leaving. Um, *SPOILER ALERT*, I think in the end she ends up splitting again, leaving the nunnery and her daughter with the caretaker.
Details are super fuzzy, but that's the gist of the story. If anyone can help me out, I'd appreciate it!!!

I accidentally posted as a comment instead of on themain page.
So I started dating this girl for a few months. During this time, I learned that her name is derived from a character in a romance novel that her mother was reading while she was in the hospital. She never read this book before and the mother does not remember the title of the book. So I figured that as a first Christmas present, I could find this book for her! I only have a little information to go on.
1. The character's name is Germaine. 2. Germaine leaves a convent to find love (or because she fell in love) 3. The real Germaine (The girl whom I search the internet for) was born on August 3rd 1987. So the book would have been published before then.
Notes: I have not confirmed but many suggest In the Shadow of the Castle. Some say Kisses by Erin Pizzey is a reprint of that story. Still doing research.. So other suggestions couldn't hurt!! THANKS TO EVERYONE IN ADVANCE!!

Hi, I was hoping someone could help me figure out he name of this book. I read it when I was a young child, and it was one of my favorites, along with 'Where the Wild Things Are'. I don't remember much of this book except that it was one of those sort that makes one think the author has been in the garden a little too long. There is one scene where the boy climbs through a hole? into his treehouse? and there is a stack of something, and he is close to the moon? Or maybehe was trying to reach the moon, and so he stacked all sorts of things into his treehouse, or somethign like that.
I can't remember the name of the book, nor the author, nor the name of the boy, I'm sorry X_x

I can remember this children's picture book from when I was a child, it was sort of hardcover and I think it might have been green. I cannot for the life of me remember the title and google turns up nothing. It was positively charming and had delightful illustrations.
Basically the story (it may have been a series of stories) involved a Mother Hedgehog moving into a forest, looking at various places to live, and eventually settling on the old home of a pair of female rabbits (one of the rabbits was called Amelia). I think the story/stories then followed the Mother Hedgehog's various adventures in the forest, and those of her neighbors.
One such plot/subplot involved a thrush called Mavis who wanted to be a singer - so she left the forest to go to the town. In the concert hall, however, when she flew down from the rafters to sing, she was not welcome and the orchestra shooed her away.
That's all I can remember about the book/series, but if anyone recognises it, I'd be grateful.
